Clan Thompson Colorado is part of Clan Thompson International, recognized by the Lord Lyon in the spring of 2012, and with a history dating back to the 1500s at least. The clan has become more active here in Colorado since 2008, when clan officials from Tennessee joined with local Thompsons in Estes Park Colorado, as part of the Longs Peak Scottish-Irish Highland Festival.
Since that time, we’ve participated in games and festivals in Arvada, Elizabeth, Highlands Ranch, Longmont, Colorado Springs, Snowmass, and Edgewater, as well as hosting the International Annual General Meeting of Clan Thompson in Estes Park in 2011 and 2015.
